Default Ad-Free Surfing...

Hi all !

1. I dont know if there are other threads running this topic
2. If you already know how to browse ad-free then plz dont post :
yes I knew this dude, old news etc etc

For Firefox Users :

1. Go HERE and download Adblock
2. Now here and download Filerset.G Updater
3. Update Firefox,Adblock and filterset.g Regularly!

For Internet Explorer Users :

1. Adblock Pro
2. IE7 Pro

For Safari Users:

Safari AdBlock blocks ads in Safari. It is free of charge and under the GPL license.

Safari AdBlock is meant to be extremely simple to use: there is nothing to configure, no regular expression, no filter list to manage, it just works out of the box!

DOWNLOAD HERE

For Opera Users:

1. Download the following file:

urlfilter.ini

*NOTE* You can also use the urlfilter.ini given by Tamil: http://my.opera.com/Tamil/blog/ad-block
This may or may not be better for you.

2. Place the file in the directory specified by this:

opera:config#Opera Directory

3. Restart Opera

Optional Additional Adblocking:

*NOTE* This may or may not do extra adblocking, doesn't save bandwidth like the method above, and may make a more noticeable impact on browsing speed.

1. Download the following file:

adblock.js

2. Save the file to your userjs folder. If you don't have one, make one. I have mine set to C:\Program Files\Opera\userjs
Make the folder. Then point to it by going to Tools, Preferences, Advanced Content, Javascript Options.

3. Restart Opera

No more ads! If you somehow manage to find one that slips through, just right click on the page, block content, and click on the ad and press done. No ad!

For Netscape users :

go Here and follow the steps
I dont recommend it for Firefox/Mozilla and Opera coz there are lots of more easier Methods then dealing with .css files I think

Notes : I recommend Adblock over Adblock PLUS as it provides same features etc.
