Default Greenblue Watery...thing (photoshop tutorial)

I had learnt this effect a long time ago from a site which now don't remember, I had learnt it by heart at the time. Anyway, its a very easy, make no mistakes tutorial. Good for beginners.

Step 1:
Create a new document of, square shaped. If you want to later make it a wallpaper, cut down. I’ll use 1152x1152. White background.

Step 2:
Go to Filter > Sketch > Chalk & Charcoal with default settings (Charcoal area: 6, Chalk area: 6, Stroke Pressure: 1)

Step 3:
Go to Filter > Render > Difference Clouds

Step 4:
Go to Filter > Sketch > Chrome
- Detail: 4
- Smoothness: 6

Step 5:
Next go to Filter > Distort > Wave and give the following settings
- Type: Sine
- Number of generations 250
- Wave Lenght: 200 and 500
- Amplitude: 200 and 500
- Scale: 1 and 1
- Undefinied Areas: Warp Arround

Step 6: Duplicate Layer and set the Blending Mode of the newly created layer to Lighten

Step 7:
Go to Edit > Transform > Rotate 180º

Step 8:
Colourise the graphic by pressing Ctrl+U or going to Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation with the following settings.

- Check Colorize box
- Hue: 243
- Saturation: 50
- Lightness: 0

Step 9:
Merge the two layers by pressing CTRL + E

Step 10:
Give the command Filter > Render > Difference Clouds

Step 11:
Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and give a value of 2.7 or so.

Step 12:
Go to Edit > Fade Gaussian Blur
- Opacity: 100%
- Mode: Soft Light
And you’re done!

If you want to set the image for a wallpaper, just go to Image > Canvas size and specify the height of the document corresponding to the screen resolution.

My final Image:

Incidentally, this is the same abstract that I used to as the background for my earlier tutorial, Frizzly Frame.
