Actually I reacall now that I had read somewhere in this forum that this may be possible.. if I recall correctly it was like most manufacturers are making only DVD RW drives but selling it as DVD ROM with the writer functionality disabled. It also required tweaking with the Lens head. But its too complicated to be true.

Different Lenses are available in market like DVD Read/Write head and DVD Read Head as low as 50 to 60 rs! dont know where to get

Reading DVDs on CD-ROM drives is possible! Only if a monitor taking photos of you is too

guys its possible in theory and fails when done in practical. dont try it!
