Is your Windows XP too fast for some programs???Just get "turbo" from here:

ftp://ftp.infogrames.net/patches/general/turbo.exe

Set your CPU speed to a low value.There you go.Now all programs will run at the reduced speed.!!

This used to happen on dual cores earlier with games and such ..

I don't wish to slow down my computer.Even I want my system 2times faster.Thats why I am planing to upgrade my PC.

Err, you wouldn't like if your trial software's timer went dual fast will you? Or the likes? There's disadvantage to speeds

trial software times are based on actual times na? And not on processing time

I think trail software works on system time..nor on the speed of your computer.

Aw man I was just giving a non-game example Cause in some NFS (Dunno which version) the timer went crazy and required a patch. Sorry anyway ..

Also it works for old Dos Games....The modern PC's just make the old dos based games too fast to be playable.

you could also try dos shell to run old games in... Oh found another way to slow your system down... good ol' spyware its great for that!
