To remove that black arrow from ur desktop shortcut icon.

follow these steps
click on start> run> type regedit
u'll see ur registry directory'll open
click on HKEY CLASSES ROOT
a lots oe subfolder'll open
then find "piffile" among them> click on it> u'll see 4 options in the left side will appear> now right click "isshortcut" > delete it.
again find a file named "lnkfile" > click> delete isshortcut in the left window
now close ur registry directory and restart ur pc.
u r done.
you need to restart Or else do this
press ctrl+alt+del
in the process tab select explorer.exe and click on end task
after ending go to appication tab and click on new task there type explorer.exe that's it over now see the icons on desktop

Hey Kal.. its good you are trying to post tutorials here, but most of them are allready posted here. So I dont think it is good to post them again. Look below there is a similar thread box, you will see that this tutorial is allready posted, (and many other too which you posted here.)

So please try using search before posting.

bt instead of playing with ur REGISTRY ........... which is damn risky ..... u might endup deleting| modifying imp keys 2 ........


y not use a freeware software as TWEAKUI ........


easy 2 use & no risk in deleting any imp or unwanted reg keys .........
