Help: Changing Windows Taskbar Color

Hi friends can any one tell me if there is any process to change the Windows Taskbar color or put some image on it.... i dont want to use any shell extensions or softwares... i wanna hack some windows system files n get it... May b some thing like v do with Resource Hacker....

thanks for reply Vishal... but im using Windows2000 n i could not find the Resources folder and eventually the other files that u have specified in that.... do u have any other idea to change color in Windows2000....

Then this hack is not for u
What u can do is:

1.) Open Desktop Properties.
2.) Goto "Appearance" tab.
3.) Click on "Advanced" button.
4.) Change the color of "3D Objects" to ur desired color.
