Saving Windows Update Files.
always some thread around if one can save the windows update files. yep, u can save them, BUT B4 installing them onto your computer after Microsoft downloads them.
to do so, wait for the download to complete, then before clicking on the OK confirmation box to install the update, go to the 'C:\Windows' directory and look/search for the temp folder (usually "Msdownld.tmp") then copy all of the files to another folder on your computer.
i have not tried this personally, so if someone, sometime tries this, do revert pls !www.TheWindowsClub.com

Re: Saving Windows Update Files.
All downloaded updates are stored in following folder:
C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download
Where c: is the system drive, where windows is installed. Just copy paste all folders in this folder and u'll get a folder Update in each folder, just open it and run update.exe file.
