Its my own trick, which I discovered many years before while playing with the registry!!!
Its for Intel Chipset, not checked for others.

Whwnever we install Inten chipset drivers, some extra entries like Save schemes, etc r added into Context menu when we right-click on desktop.
Its very irritating and takes a little bit extra time for showing up the context menu.
I like the small context menu with only Arrange icons, lineup icons, refresh, new and properties.

So this Registry trick removes those extra entries of schemes added after the chipset drivers install.

So here we go:

Goto: Start -> Run and type regedit and nevigate to:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shellex\Con textMenuHandlers

and delete the key igfxui or something like that. (there will be only two keys one that I mentioned and other will beNew, right if u delete it too, u'll loose the New context menu entry too.)

Now, ur desktop context menu will look nice and no time delay.
ENJOY!!!

thnx!
How I found this trick?
I was disabling Control panel applets, I serched in windows search for .CPL files and found that for Intel chipset control panel applet the file is igfxui.cpl.

After some days I was playing with registry and found this key there in registry and I deleted it and Voilla the desktop context menu entry was removed...
