Question 100% cpu usage problem


i got win vista 64bit home premium installed in my hp hdx16 laptop.....unfortunately i lost my recovery drive and my recovery disks also got damagedso i installed win 7 64bit ultimate and installed all the drivers from hp site for win 7 64bitbut now most of the times my cpu usage reaches to 100% and its temerature crosses 50C which didn't happened in win vista...i dont know why???i guess its because i think the fans are not working.............can any one tell me whats the problem and its solution???this same case happened with my friend's laptop hp dv3 only his os was 32bit.........guys pls hlp me out!!!

try increasing your virtual memory through
System Properties => Advanced => Performance- Settings => Advanced => Change

and type appropriate value depends on your RAM Size.

What is your problem actually? Your CPU usage is always 100% or your CPU overheats?
If CPU usage is the problem, I guess it might be due to some nasty programs (viruses) running in the background. Win 7 doesn't ask questions like Vista!
If overheating is due to hardware, try to go to the BIOS and check the hardware monitor after using the machine for a couple of hours. If you can't go to the BIOS, try to get some free motherboard monitoring utility.
