Default IN CASE u hav a problem updating WinXp, try this...

IF u have winxp/sp2, and r unable to download windows updates, just
try doing this. u may have more luck. doesnt matter if ur xp is genuine
or borrowed.

Open Internet Explorer>tools>internet options>security>click 'trusted
sites' icon>click Sites...> uncheck 'require server verification'>

then add following sites :
http://*.windowsupdate.microsoft.com
http://*.windowsupdate.com.

When MS has given this option in it's explorer.WHAT IS ILLEGAL IN IT??
No hacking & cracking tools are being used. Let MS change thir windows update websites to detect this setting and stop updating.

Excellent find. Keep us updated
