How to protect your Windows system without any Software?
Check Dis Out[Works For XP ,Vista,....]
Dis Trick Will Help Against Hackers & Virues(Mostly 4 Virues It Is Helpfull)
Caution: U must be Admin or must have Admin privileges
Step 1:
Go To "Folder Option" in "Control Panel" -->"View Tab" --> (scroll down) Uncheck "Use Simple File Sharing" --> Apply & OK
Step 2:
Right Click on C: Drive(If Operating System is installed in C: drive) --> Properties --> You will see a new tab as "Security" Click on it --> Select User's at "Group or user names" (you will see all permissions of users on C Drive) -->Edit It As per ur requirement(Suggestion: Uncheck Write Permission For All Users except Admin) & Apply it.
Restart It!!
Mission Over
[Suggestion: Use this trick during fresh installation & Jst Use Any Other user who has no Admin privileges]

There is no security tab when I go to properties in C drive........... WTH!!

You must Firstly uncheck the "Use Simple File Sharing" option which is at the bottom of the "Advance Settings" below "View Tab"

you must uncheck simple file sharing..
if the problem persist, your system has virus.. update ur antivirus and do full system scan..

"Use Simple File Sharing" option shows that you are disabling File Sharing between user

Sorry for typographic mistakes.
You have to Uncheck The "Use Simple File Sharing" option.

I have done it.I have only kept write permission for Admin and unchecked System also. Will it have any negative effect?

You must give permission to the System because it use to write all important things related to system directly to Default Windows Drive[Here C:drive].

I'm not making you all April Fool.

This helps to provide restriction to user group from writing to C: Drive.
Even Virues which use to write there files directly to Crive will be not possible, Untill you make freaky movements without precaution.& Hence your Windows system don't get currupted because of Virues
