getting rid of viruses(the new way)-tutorial

1.close all progrms.open up the antivirus software (don't hve any go to step 3).enable deep scanning mode in settings.ignore the warning.in action option select quarantine . do not set to delete.start the scan,leave ur comp alone.
2.after scanning see how many files hav been quarantined.if no files are quarantined (dont worry).go to step 3.
3.restart and go to safe mode.
4.go to add/remove programes and uninstall ur antivirus software as it may be infected too.restart in safe mode.
5.install the antivirus again (dont use pendrive)and run deep scan.it will be faster this time.
6.if u see more infected files move them all to quarantine.restart normally.
7.update the antivirus and scan again.

This doesn't make much of a difference if antivirus doent detects the virus in the first place even after updating.
It better still to get the best antivirus which frequently releases updates.

Moreover, I've found a better way to deal with viruses(This one works!):-
1>Boot using a Linux live CD.
2>Do an online scan using online antivirus services.
3> Use various linux antivirus software to clean the PC.
4>Boot back into Windows and say "Long live Open Source!".
