Default What's INTEL playing - HAVENDALE and LGA 1160

Well, here we are anticipating the response to NEHALEM, INTEL's next gen processors with their FLAGSHIP i965 Extreme as the most powerful processor at 3.2Ghz.

Speculations are that even the 2.66Ghz variant of Nehalem beats the LIVING DAYLIGHT out of the QX9775, INTEL's Yorkfield Flagship procc, which costs nothing less than an arm, leg, kidney, and eye(and more actually).

And we are also aware that NEHALEM is LGA SOCKET 1366, the new replacement to the old LGA SOCKET 775.

As if we had not waited and had enough already, here's INTEL's next start. HAVENDALE budget-quad-cores for us in 2009( oh please budget, even the performance DENEBs cost lesser).

Here's the news:

INTEL's SOCKET 1160 is now H1, and 1366 is named SOCKET B, WHT!!!

So, what is INTEL playing at, they think NEHALEM is on top of the WORLD so they will continue with two SIMULTANEOUS SOCKETS MELODRAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[NOTE-In this ^^ article, it's not P45 at the end of the article, but P55)

@comp..... I suggest you create one thread and stick maintaing it with topics that revolve around your thread, instead opening multiple threads on different topics that basically are related to the same subject. I hope you got what I mean............. just an openion though......
