Downloaded and installed it, but yet to try it out as its asking me to restart PC and I am feeling lazy

btw pirated users beware, it will present you a option(which is checked by default) to download windows updates and patches. I fear that you will also be given the updates that blackens your screen every 60 mins and shows a balloon that you are 'Victim of piracy'

Those who are in habit of Next->Next->Next type of installation beware

Done with the installation and it is lot more improved now since Beta 1. Posting this now from it. Nice job Microsoft. But I have to use it for some more time to examine all it's features and performance.

I heard about it's released today from a source but did not believe into it. I think now it's time to rethink about the reliability of my source

Using it now. More sites are opening better then before in IE 8 mode & for those which won't work properly in IE 8 mode can be simply viewed in IE 7 mode by clicking on the compatibility button at the address bar.

now, Can someone make the digit forum theme changer script available for IE 7 pro?

Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 Release Notes @ http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949787

IE8 Beta 2 installs on the present version of IE in a PC, it does not support a separate installation.

It is still not as fast as FF3 or Opera 9.5 but the speed is lot improved over IE7

BTW IE8 still lacks the optimum support for the acidtest 3. It just manages to score 21 in there.

@Vishal

If you do not mind, would you please change the title slightly (or any mods ? ) as I think its lil confusing ?

It says - Internet Explorer Beta 2 Released

Should be - Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 Released ? Or you meant that itself ?

I apologize for propgating wrong news. The crashes were happening before restarting ma system after installation. Live mail is working fine now
