Default Re: Pollution in bejing are we being over melodramatic?

San Fransico is not hosting the Olympics. And that San Fransico has as much pollution as Bejing in no good an excuse to ignore the problem at hand. Tens of Thousands of people are going to be in the city to witness Olympics and smog is certainly going to show Bejing in bad light to them, as well as the media. Bejing, when it won the bid for this event, certainly would have planned to control the pollution during the event and it seems they have failed, at least to some extent. This despite the fact that many factories have been ordered to close doors and heavily restricting the amount of traffic within the city. So it is indeed a cause for concern.
