Exclamation XP SP3 Slipstreaming Problem on Windows Vista

Windows XP SP3 has been released to RTM, but one of the problems which slipped into it in its RC phase hasn't yet been rectified. When SP3 is slipstreamed into a Windows XP media on Windows Vista or VLK edition of XP, the resulting image becomes corrupt and refuses all the product keys given to it. It happens due to corruption of two files, details for which are given below:

Valid files:
i386\ic\pidgen.dll - MD5: 34b2a6b36c60d3d3bb909b999ae66f88
i386\ic\dpcdll.dll - MD5: 3e2f3e2f4a82b7fae23bab864fb0f837

Invalid files in the broken, slipstreamed image:
i386\ip\pidgen.dll - MD5: bc5726a119118d9ac12e2ada25e01b3c
i386\ip\dpcdll.dll - MD5: 6c26dcf01e2a92f183b97d434017268a

The reason for this is not known and the only possible solution for now is to replace these two files in the 'broken' image with valid ones taken from the SP3 image.
