Adobe Opens the FLV and SWF Formats

This does not mean that the formats are going to be open-sourced! They will probably just open some specs so as to allow inter-operability! Bahut sapne dekhte ho sab ke sab :-P

IMO It means that the specifications of those files (which were not available to everybody earlier) are now open and so it will lead to more interoperability for applications that make use of those formats!
It DOES NOT means that the formats are open-sourced
