Transcend Launches 32GB Flash Drive
Transcend has announced the availability of its latest high-capacity USB flash drive - the 32GB JetFlash V60 in India. Transcend is the first brand selling pen drives with such a large capacity in such a small device in India.
The JetFlash V60 has dimensions of 61mm x 18.6mm x 9.8mm. The JetFlash elite software suite can be installed to run directly from the JetFlash drive when plugged in. It also includes seven timesaving data management functions, including, Website AutoLogin, PC-Lock, Mobile Favorites, Secret-Zip encryption, Mobile E-mail, DataBackup and Online Update. .................

Kewl, people with EEE PC in India can crack one open and solder it to a USB port. When it comes at a price that is affordable.

Corsair 32GB models are already available for 8~9k. But he s/w features offered by transcent is cool.
But transcent v10 models are much faster than v60 nd also for same capacities, v10 has lesser price at almost double performance.
but v60 prices are comparitively on gigher side than v10m maybe due to the s/w features.

Woukd it be more productive if one buys an entry level laptop instead of spending for something near 25-28K instead of spending 17K+7K=24K ?

eeepc is in a different league compared to a full fledged laptop
An entry level laptop is not as portable as the EEE.. that is why people buy eee's.. people who buy eee's already have a PC and are looking for something between a big smartphone/pda and the entry level laptop.. that market is what eee satisfies and does an excellent job at it

Try carrying around that entry level laptop around for a week just when you come and go from your office to home and home to office and you would come to know why people prefer EEE PC.

corsair has 64GB voyager models, but not in India. Those voyagers are very 'fat' and almost like a cylinder
nyway this transcent 32GB will be real gud if it has same performance as transcent's own v10 models. Its the fastest budget drive available in here. Fater than Sandisk Cruzers, Corsair Voyagers or Kingston Datatraveller II Pro. and cheaper than all of em.
