Wink BSNL Launches IPTV in West Bengal

Just saw the news in E-TV today. BSNL Kolkata chief today declared that present broadband connection holders could easily avail the facility. This service will be served through the 2 Mbps line at present and there are a proposal of making it through 8 Mbps in near future, presumably within a few months.

Subscribers will have to pay Rs. 890 (I am not sure but it is something like 800+) and then a monthly rental Rs. 150 to BSNL. As of now, 100+ channels are available with a option to order movies through IPTV

Great News for me, enjoyable.

But it is overpriced,,,i pay max 200rs to get 100 channels,,

I also think that it is better than CAS. CAS does not offer the features IPTV has to offer.

IP TV Half of the Exchange still have DSLAM supporting not over 2 MBPS
