Here's a product that I recently came across that does a heck of a lot of things and is much cheaper than the AppleTV.

I didn't say it's got everything that the AppleTV's got, did I?

Apple TV is in it's own league, but this device is very much affordable and quite useful in the Indian Market itself which AppleTV is not because of it's implementation of renting DVD's online.. no one's got the bandwidth.

Hold AppleTV for a sec and I'm sure you won't say this device is stupid or useless.. would you?

I'm just saying that comparing it to the AppleTV does not make much sense. This one does sound like a neat device, though given that it runs on Linux or some other open source OS, I have my doubts about how good (or bad) the interface will be. The remote gives me the creeps. That thing has six hundred forty-six buttons!

The AppleTV, of course, is pretty much useless in our country.
