nokia aeon.. iphone killer?

hey came across somethig shocking..
nokia's new aeon concept..

Nokia's research and development team have kicked it up a gear with an attractive "aeon" concept phone showing up in the R&D section of the company's website. The most prominent design feature of aeon is a touchscreen that stretches over the full surface area of the phone, similar to BenQ-Siemens's Black box concept phone we saw recently

It is just a concept. The pics were released long before the iPhone was even released. And it seems to be a fake.

i dont understand why when a Mobile with touchscreen or flashy(iphone like) features come why is it named or asked as IPHONE killer ?
why do people want it to be DEAD ??
