Default Windows Vista Hindi Language Interface Pack! :p

Hey Guys!

Check this out. There is a Hindi Language Interface Pack available for Windows Vista. Get it from :

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=hi

Its not a complete language pack so some components will still be in your native OS language.

Although i cannot say about how useful it is but its funny to see weired looking terms for user interface items.

Even in Internet Explorer it shows status as "www.micrsoft.com ki prateeksha kar raha hai" its nice! Control panel is displayed as Niyantran Kaksh

Ya it seems a little comic, but good thing for people like my mother too, she knows little english. Now i can teach her computers a little, maybe word processing. I also use Barha (a indi language software that uses unicode fonts to write in hindi and supports phonetic keyboard layout), that was reviewed in Digit to let her type in hindi with minimal effort.

By the way, a hindi Language Interface Pack is also available for Windows XP at the location given by Choto Cheeta.
