firefox 3 beta 1 has been just released...have a look at this good browser..

change log is mentioned in the filehippo link i have given..

you are right...it does consume a lot of memory...even firefox 2 does..my firefox 2.0.0.9 with just 2 tabs open and 3 extensions(downthemall, adblockplus and flashblock) consumes around 40mb..way too high..

the only reason i am with firefox is because of the extensions and its faster than IE...

well yeah... 2.0.0.9 is a memory hog itself.. 30 Mb + with just one tab open.. and no plugind

opera is anyday better.. fastest one out there, and comparitively low memory usage while browsing... though CPU usage is higher but CPU usage can be compromised for RAM...

and i only hav 256 mb

Any idea if the Mac version has the native mac look? I don't want to waste 17MB on my dialup...
