will do a fresh install(looong time since i installed any distro!) with gutsy when it is released.
as am enjoying Debian Sid with most of Gnome-2.20 already!feisty is taking a rest in my hdd.I last tried a month ago or so. and nothing against ubuntu.still i can get ubuntu packages in Debian from ubuntu returned to debian called Utnubu. btw Debian is not so recommended for very newbies to Linux although debian got GUI installer.

why are the fonts still not tweaked and still crappy looking? i'd mailed those guys regarding that and they'd said they'll look into it. font rendering is one thing that needs immediate improvement here so that users don't hafta tweak it manually.

yeah it does, but theres still lotsa room for tweaking. it'd be better for noobs who can't tweak it themselves.

A collection of simple dialogs as a front end to GConf This is a fairly simple project. A collection of simple dialogues as a front end to GConf. We will provide extra configuration settings for GNOME that 'power users' have been requesting since the release of GNOME 2.0. . Presently, dialogs with settings for Nautilus, the Session and Menus are provided.
