Regarding your qn

Personally I prefer Lenovo (I own Thinkpad) / DELL

But of course, they are not cheap. If you don't mind the quality, but look for cheap, you can go for brands like Acer etc. But again, if you specify your exact budget and requirements, other users may be able to suggest based on it.
