Thumbs up Ad Aware 2007 Free - Now Vista Compatible.

Lavasoft's Ad-Aware Free includes better detection of adware and malware, a scanning engine that goes easy on your PC's system resources, and a snazzy new interface.

It is NOW Vista compatible.

gr888.... !!!! I usually use both Ad-aware and Spybot regularly. But to tell the truth i am a little uncomfortable with the looks of the new Ad-aware 2007...

Haven't tried it yet. I didn't like that service that was running in the beta.

In Windows XP & Vista, set the Ad Aware service to Manual, & stop it. Now it will run only when u run ad aware which means once in a while. Then either stop service again from services.msc or reboot.

Service hardly eats any CPU anyway
