Yes u have just seen the cheapest laptop in the world 'medison celebrity' from medison(check dis link)
Though it doesnt give u real performance (1.5GHz Intel Celeron M 370 processor ,256MB of memory(expandable to just 1 gb),40gb hd) but still who needs it when u can get dis dirt cheap stuff in just 150$ with 1 yr warranty. letz wait for it to get in indian market or just order it and see for urself

Very nice . If this one hits india then it will be just a mater of time to see a laptop in every corner of the india in every childs hand.

I wouldn't count on that. What we can actually hope for, is the availability of ASUS' EEEPC subnotebook. I will buy one the day Asus India releases a PR for the same (assuming it has a similar pricetag)
