Default Firefox 2.0.0.6 Released


Barely less than 2 weeks since Firefox 2.0.0.5 was released, it is again updated to 2.0.0.6

Fixes since 2.0.0.5

MFSA 2007-27 Unescaped URIs passed to external programs
MFSA 2007-26 Privilege escalation through chrome-loaded about:blank windows

i guess mostly d bug is fixed... coz URI's deal with sending information to different programs. i'm pretty sure its fixed, but still can someone confirm it 100%.

If they have fix those bugs then this is a good update

Just updated to 2.0.0.6. following security issues fixed
Unescaped URIs passed to external programs
Privilege escalation through chrome-loaded about:blank windows

This is stable and more secure guys..update is safe i think

You can update it if u have internet connection. It is not needed to download the whole 5.7MB. Just click on 'Help'->'Check for updates'. It is nearly 700KB download.

Are you on Debian?Iceweasel is already 2.0.0.6(in a matter of 24hrs!).

But it shows 7.3MB for download... why so? its a updating so i expected few kbytes of download...
