Default AMD further cuts prices on its processors

This price war between Intel and AMD is getting exciting everyday.......for us consumers

Current July 9
6000+ $229 $169
5600+ $179 $149
5200+ $169 $129
4800+ $129 $109
4400+ $115 $89
4200+ $102 $79
4000+ $99 $69

Source :http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=7960

This is freaking awesome....if 4000+ is about Rs.3000,then 3600+must be somewhere around Rs.2200 i guess.....this is great

This is opposed to intels own price cuts on july 22

A C2D Conroe 6600 still beats out the 6000+ X2 marginally .. But considering the latter is just around 7k, it might be a good budget buy after-all.

Thats great news as I am planning to buy new PC. When these prices will be effecting in India? About 2-3 weeks atleast I think. So mid-August will be good time to buy a new computer for me.
