Google to enter the Anti-Virus space !?

Google’s anti-malware team has recently published a new blog , in which there are some hints about the companies ambitious drive to put a wall between malafide Websites and the End-Users.

Location of compromised web sites.

If this were to happen, it would put the company up against McAfee’s SiteAdvisor, Trend Micro’s TrendProtect and Exploit Prevention Lab’s LinkScanner, three browser add-ons that slap graphical warning signs (red, yellow or green labels) next to search results.

It's not so easy to establish place in already well established antivirus market. Very tough job to beat the leaders. Google..can you?
