I read all the time that the lightest linux uses 8MB ram and Pentium1 (I dont know lower model number). I think Arjun Singh will make the kids use this kinda thing.

well ithink arjun singh is talkin bout lappy with not OS installed on hdd but on a ROM ship like a firmware with just a cui n 1mhz proccy with 8kb of ram , i think he's gone back to the Unix era 
even my scientific calculator would beat that(cost rs 300)
