Default The Lost Windows Vista Embryonic Imagery

Quote:
Windows Vista delivers an overhauled visual style unlike any other edition of the Windows operating system. Although many aspects of the platform have been contested, the redesigned graphical
user interface has been evolved to tailor fit the taste of the users. Today, you will be able to get an insight on the development process of the Windows Vista style.

You can now feast you eyes on the embryonic Windows Vista imagery. All of the images included herein are in fact pre-product visualizations of various visual components of the operating system. Those of you that are already familiar with the operating system's style will easily recognize some of the images as an integer part of Windows Vista.

The beauty of the embryonic Windows Vista imagery is that it offers an insight into the raw and incomplete stages of the design process. The simplest comparison in this regard is between the Windows Vista boxes, on the left and the final packages. “Pre-production visualization for the Microsoft Windows Vista Box. These boxes are near finished, with only a few changes remaining before the final product was approved,” is the description that the author (rs3art - Robert Stein III) has given the products.

And you can simply get the near finished feel with little trouble. And the same is valid for the Windows Aero designs, for the Contacts Icon and for the 3D rendered packaging design for Microsoft Vista (Longhorn). Just browse your way through the images and access high-resolution pictures by clicking on them. Of course the whole collection is available on Flickr.
