Google's Blogger Adds 2 New Widgets: NEWSREEL, VIDEOBAR

For those people who blog at Blogspot.com, here's something relevant to you.

Blogger.com now has the two new widgets that you can add to your blog: Newsreel and VideoBar.



Newsreel automatically adds current headlines from Google News to your blog

Specify your search expression, for e.g., Iraq Crisis etc. to display relevant items. By default the terms Apple, Google and Microsoft are present. You can make the news items open on a new page when clicked, if you wish.

Video Bar Displays clips from YouTube and Google Video for your readers to watch without leaving the page.



Here too, you can specify words for relevant videos. Click on a video, and the video starts playing above the first post on your blog. When you're finished click "I'm done watching this" and it's over. This is awesome!
