Default Apple Partners with Sony

Quote:
It seems like iTunes’ player
abilities are likely to be avoided by numerous users as more and more reports are concerning the shop function included in Apple’s application. As you know, both versions of iTunes, Windows and Mac, are currently owning an interesting feature entitled iTunes Store that allow users to buy multimedia content using an online shop designed b the parent company Apple.

Nowadays, Apple is really trying to increase the amount of content distributed via iTunes Store by signing several partnerships with Internet companies able to bring more music or videos to the product. One week ago, Apple made an agreement with Palms Casino, a hotel that host some of the biggest live concerts and events in the entire world with famous bands or singers.

Today, Apple announces one more partnership with Sony to bring more television shows for the iTunes Store including Spiderman and Starksy and Hutch. Although the terms of the deal were not disclosed, the agreement really helps Apple attract more users to the product, iTunes tending to become a huge Internet store.

“Apple confirmed on Thursday that Sony will join the iTunes Store with several new television shows. "News Radio," "Till Death," the original animated "Spiderman," "Starsky and Hutch" and "Charlie's Angels" will all be available for purchase from the store later today. Sony joins some 60 other channels already available on the iTunes Store including NBC, CBS, ABC, A&E, Spike, Fox and TLC,” Macworld reported.

Earlier this day, I reported that Apple was involved in a lawsuit concerning Walt Disney after Starz Entertainment accused the company for distributing its videos without their authorization. Starz sustained they own an exclusive right over the videos so Walt Disney infringed this deal and sent numerous movies to iTunes' store.
