Night Calling at Half Rates on MTNL -- True??

Is it really working.. haven't heard of it

It has also been decided that during the night the calls rates are reduced to half i.e. 360 seconds pulse from 11.00 PM to 6.00 AM. for all plans of landline.

lucky MTNL fellows...I live in Bangalore so BSNL...But the BSNL guys came to my house & gave another phone for free void of security deposits & rent ...They were telling that if the bill is more than 1500 for past 6 months then a free phone is given...ofcourse if u make calls from that phone the charges are still applicable

This scheme has been around for more than 6 months and i have been using it.........

I have Plan 500 (Rent Rs. 500 with 450calls free over that 1.10paisa)
I still not able to confirm that weather the Half Rate is applicable on my plan.

Ya that additional phone at no cost scheme was there in delhi too,
but only the fixed initial cost was waved off, the usage bill has to be paid.
That was probably done due to increasing competion from AirTel/Tata Landline services.
I wish MTNL/BSNL start the sms service soon.
also ..their 3in 1 service is still fas away,
that voice, Broadband, TV on one line..

My dear friends please note that night calling on MTNL is for the duration of 300 seconds and not 360 seconds.

Night calling is available in delhi for months ...


now there is a new plan ,... PLAN-180 .. with all calls for Re.1
I gonna change to that from Plan500
