Wait for the final release before you start downloading. Let the mirrors sync first. This will just place unnecessary loads on mozilla's servers.

I first realized that an update must have been released when I saw that the number of people searching for a way to update Firefox manually using a .Mar file had jumped up quite a bit in the last couple of days (I can see the search terms people used to get to my blog).
So in case you have problems with updating...drop by.

That was a useful link for those who use Firefox from their workplace. Office proxy servers usually block the update.
But anyway...if it's considered "advertising"...fine.

I noticed a tiny difference. When you try to open a saved or static HTML web page from your computer it gives an error "Windows Cannot find <filename>...." in my Windows MCE. Others check this out so that I can confirm its a Firefox problem and not mine. The problem does not exist in 2.0.0.1 and earlier versions in Windows.

Well I reverted back to FF 2.0.0.1 and its been no problem since so I guess I'll keep there till there's a dire need to upgrade at gunpoint.
