it is made for Windows XP & Vista, but yeah, it's made for Vista era though. However one really bad thing for typers, it has a small palm rest

This much I can say to you freshseasons, that though Microsoft is very very bad at its Operating Systems and Policies, its keyboards (not mice) have a good build and are designed well for comfort. I doubt if they manufacture it, its probably just branding they do for some good company they have swallowed with their money.
