Default Sandisk Sansa Express : Cheapest MP3 player

Well, not the cheapest maybe, but cheaper then famous iPod shuffle, yet providing a screen (a plus factor)

Sandisk introduced Sandisk Sansa Express mp3 player in CES 2007. It is nothing, just looks like a normal pen drive & even works like one.

U just have to plug the player into USB port & it charges on it's own. It has a inbuilt battery like many portable media players. For syncing just use Windows Media Player, or simply via any File manager. No drivers required so it will even work in Linux, as a pen drive.

Plays mp3, wma, & DRM based WMA (the evil).

Why has Asia to wait longest when most of the R&D and even production is done here???

Because unlike the cell phone market, the mp3 player market in Asia is a relatively smaller than in Europe or America.

But, it's also a fact that the most selling mp3 players in Asia are the chinese unbranded mp3 players. So, smaller companies do not target Asia as enthusiastically as some of the big ones can do.
