These were the highlights of the Macworld in San Francisco and the updates to Apple's official website till now:
01. Apple announces Apple TV (formerly 'iTV')
02. Apple announced the iPhone
03. 'Apple Computer, Incorporated' becomes 'Apple, Incorporated'
04. New movies for iTunes resulting from the newly established association with Paramount Pictures
05. Airport Extreme is updated to support 802.11 n + a/b/g
06. New iPod ads
07. New 'Get a Mac' ad
08. iPhone website has slew of QuickTime demos
09. Keynote video to be uploaded on the official website
10. Software was not addressed at all

Alas, it's just a 4gigbyte and 8gigabyte model that's gonna ship in June this year. 4GB for $499 and 8GB for $599 and it's locked for Cingular carrier.

What I love:

1) Mac OS X 10 on the phone
2) Damn sexy.
3) revolutionary touch screen
4) compatible with all ipod accessories
5) Has wi-fi and of course, bluetooth
6) 3.5" widescreen for video
7) the sensor that changes to phone when you bring the device near your ear and switches to ipod when you move it away from the ear.
8) In the photo viewing mode, put two fingers on the screen and move them apart and that will be zooming in, bring them closer and that will be zooming out. move your finger on the screen to move to other area of the image that is not seen after zoom.
9) google maps
10) amazing touchscreen sensitivity. It's something that we never saw before and is now patented to Apple.

What I didn't like:
1) No 3G
2) Locked to Cingular.
3)Will not be available in India till next year.
4) only 4 gig and 8 gig for a whopping $499 and $599 respectively?
5) Only a 2mp cam?

other than the first two things , rest is not very exciting. Apple tv was a obvious announcement, i love the concept as i hate regular TV. Download and watch is the next gen of tv , i hope it is not restricted to the apple's online itunes library.

Other thing the iphone is amazing , the mobile phone every one wants to own. who needs a ipod now , when i can get it in a phone + widescreen. Awesome.

Edit : How to download the keynote addres? I open the page and it asks me to install QT(which i dont want to install , VLC is my .mov player) . Is it streaming only?

Yes, Apple officially provides only the streaming version but people someone will post the whole video in downloadable format somewhere on the internet. If I find one, I'll post it here.
