Microsoft owns Linux now, Ballmer claims !!!

"MICROSOFT'S shy and retiring boss Steve 'there's a kind of hush' Ballmer might be gearing up to take Linux distributors to the cleaners.

According to Linux World, Ballmer is whispering to all who can hear that Linux infringes on Microsoft's intellectual property.

Speaking at the Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS) conference in Seattle, Ballmer said that Vole signed a deal with SuSE Linux distributor Novell because the outfit was using Microsoft's intellectual property.

The statement is the first from Ballmer which places the Novosoft deal in context and indicates what Microsoft might do to try and shaft Linux...

...Ballmer said that other Linux outfits were welcome to join in the Novosoft deal..."

^^ thts not the case any tech company now days is ready to sue the other for the wierdest of claims ... take for example google's suit on ms tht it has set msn as the default search engine in IE 7, apple and creative were in fite over the scroll wheel and there are many other instances where numerous loosers hv filed cases against ms

so ur claim tht ms worries more abt patents is in-correct and shud b editted to all tech companies are more concerned abt patent infringement and that shud be the case i create something others dont hav the rightto gain comercial benefits from it without paying me some royalties thats business
