Security firm F-Secure has expanded its Mobile Security product with an integrated antivirus and firewall offering for Symbian S60 devices.

In addition to F-Secure Mobile Anti-Virus and Mobile Security for S60, the latest edition features a firewall to guard against mobile malware threats and intrusion attempts.

The addition of a firewall represents an important step forward for the level of protection available for smartphones and multimedia computers.

The added firewall feature is important, as most new smartphones have access to wireless public networks at airports and other public places.

Smartphones too can be attacked through a Wi-Fi connection and not only by mobile viruses.

Installation of Firewalls, antivirus softwares and antispyware or any other software/utility involving 'Real-time scan' will slow down the system or mobile. Imagine a world without virus, spywares and trojan...all the PC's would have been superfast.
