Vista RTM cracked before release

The Windows version which has been released is called Vista BillGates (LOL). It doesn’t feature any activation cracks itself, and the supplied product key is just for the installation.

The activation crack is a separate download, and works by replacing the licensing components with components from beta builds. Then using a product key from Beta 1, Beta 2, RC1 or RC2, the Gold version of Vista can be activated online.

In this sense, it’s not a true crack – it’s simply leveraging off compatibilities between the betas and the Gold release. Vista still needs to be activated, and it looks like for the moment, there’s no way around that.

This won't go on for long cause you still need to activate it online, which is when they will catch you. Anyway, its reported that Vista Final wasn't even released to the beta testers and anyone outside Microsoft, and surprisingly you have a pirated version.

Now the BIG question is: Who leaked the copies to the pirates? Since it wasn't available to anyone outside MS, it has got to be done by someone inside. Remember WinXP? The pirated copy was available 23 days before official release. There's got to be a mole at Microsoft.

LOl, u dont need anything much till 2 moths (Jan 30) when Vista is officially released. Just a BIOS manipulation is needed to get it running ATM. By then, i s'pose there should be 100 cracks everywhere.

LOL, its not M$, its one of the manufacturers. RTM = Release to Manufacturers/ing.This copy of Vista is what ppl purchasing new pc's will get. No big deal if one of the puny manufacturers is an ENEMY of THE CROWN

before MS opened the doors to beta testers to download and try vista....the cracked versions were already available on net of previous releases but the activation cracks were tough to apply...so with final version being pirated the activation still remains a problem

Yes its actually the Vista RTM and it will work for 30 days without activation, after that u can continue by format and reinstall method or just wait for a crack.

Though it would be difficult this time but Crackers are genius people, so u never know!

But yes Vista-RTM is smooth and its not xp pro+home+media center package, lol.

It is actually the Vista-Ultimate edition which will be available at retail stores this January!
