Apple: Ipod has virus integrated, but it's not our fault

I have seen Apple whining & ranting in the future, they always try to downplay Microsoft, trying to brainwash their users that Microsoft & Windows are bad, but this is just insane

Just got this new, some ipods made in septembar 12 batch, were infected by a Windows virus RavMonE, now this is the fault of Apple that the virus integrated itself in the ipods, but no....they are whining that it's the fault of Microsoft that their system is not secure

first of all, how come the was came on ipods anyway, whose fault is that, 2nd, they need something to cover up so now they say, it's not their fault, it;s MS fault, i mean, they are saying, virus in ipods is a a good thing, it's bad that MS is not secure

This way it sounds like they didn't actually screw up and their average brainwashed Apple fanboy can keep believing them....

finally ppl hav started to realize that just because MS gets more media coverage faults are exposed but actually it doesnt mean others dont hav faults .... ppl know only faults in MS so they think others dont hv any faults .... wtf

Come on everyone knows how vulnerable Windows is!! They shouldn't have used
Windows O.S in the first place. It's the company that used Windows O.S has to be
blamed for this whole mess.

They just didn't downplay it. If you were following the mailing lists then you would come to know that they even sent their lawyers to force the organisation to keep their mouth shut. Since the security organisation was not very rich types...they kept quiet...

well if its such a well known fact then:

1. why did they opt for it
2. it is now well known that more than MS its the unwillingness on other organisations to let MS come up with something that is really good ....

Great, why dont they just say that it was their mistake in the first place. Simple and straight.

Viruses on MP3 players is not something new. A few days back, viruses were reported on 10,000 players offered as gifts by Mc Donalds. This is what they had to say about it.

Similarly with the Creative Zen players. They dont go all guns blazing and cribbing others about it. What I want to say is, such things happen - just issue a fix, accept your mistake, send replacements do whatever. Why use everything as an opportunity to bash others for flaws.
