It would have been better if they would have increased the free d/l limit.

Yes. They last updated their tariff plans in November, 2005. It's high time that they introduce better plans.

Huh? Maybe in Delhi, not in Mumbai atleast. If they are offering at such a price in Mumbai, I'd gladly dump this crapway.

But How about this evil trick:
get the free installation, keep old internet connection, choose the 0 minimum pay plan.
Then in a few months(or decade) when the prices for unlimited fall simply change plan to unlimited , abandon old internet and Enjoy!

Try calling 1500 tomorrow morning. I am quite sure that both cities have common tariff plans and this plan should be available in Mumbai as well. The offer is for limited period i.e. till 30th November and it could be that Mumbai website is not updated?

I am also thinking about applying for MTNL because of the free installation

Mtnl 256 kbps ulmited is just awsome for 949Rs, but i hope they announce a 512 unlimited plan soon.

yes they should up the free download limit by 500mb for DSL NU plan atleast..
