Default nforce 680i MCP --- the worthy companion of nvidia 8800 cards.

This information and following images have been leaked in Anandtech forums.

1) This 680i chipset is supposed to replace nforce 590 SLi Intel Edition.

2) Motherboard is manufactured by eVGA and is meant to be an enthusiast solution and will be accompanied by the upcoming 8800 series DX10 cards.

3) Three PCI Express x16 slots, 2 PCI Express x1 and 2 PCI slots. Two of the PCI Express x16 slots are full-speed with sixteen lanes, while the config. of the 3rd one is unknown . With 3 PCI Express x16 slots, NVIDIA will be competing directly with ATI’s triple-play physics processing architecture.

4) Other features include 1394a, onboard high definition REALTEK audio, dual Gigabit Ethernet and a heat pipe cooler for the MCP and SPP.
