INTEL to slash 1,000 managerial jobs

AMD have given really a tough fight to INTEL as we all know , INTEL is now really worried about AMD

"Weaker demand and a tough fight given by rival Advanced Micro Devices Inc. has made Intel take another look at its efficiency levels. Come Tuesday, Intel Corp CEO Paul Otellini will finally spell out the results of a threemonth-long "efficiency analysis programme" that was announced earlier this year.

Not only 1000 managerial jobs , Intel is expected to announce internally the results of
it's efficiency review by September 5. A move that could result in thousands of even more layoffs!!
