Hmm... But you can still block these ads by putting their entries in HOSTS file as localhost ..
Anandk .. .. Ad Hunter Extension takes care of all this BS ..

Aray I wasnt talking about floating ads .. I was saying if you put adserver.net : localhost the ads wont be displayed from adserver.net ..

Adhunter extension .. Umm .. Check the thread I pointed out na .. .. I am too lazy to write .. Or maybe I'll follow up tommorow if you still arent sure of using it .. ..

i dont understand one thing, " if ppl dont know that ad is going on and that a program is doing it" then wat is the purpose of AD , the main objective of ad is to appear in front of people and get noticed..............

Paul .. Consider this .. You surf a website and the site owner has posted some ads on it. So when you click on those ads, the revenue is generated for the site owner .. Now with these spyware programs running in background, the ads are replaced by the spyware affialiated ads translating in loss of revenue to the website owner .. Moreover, these ads might not be as harmless as Google ads ... So while surfing if you are gettting same ads again and again on all websites, you are possibly infected with ad injection spyware ..
