Firefox Reaches 200,000,000 Downloads.

Mozilla is celebrating a very important milestone this week; the 200 millionth download of their open source web browser, Firefox. This news comes on the heels of the announcement that Firefox had recently passed 15% of the US market...39% of the market in Germany, and 24% in Australia...

Mozilla is gearing up to launch Firefox 2.0, which will compete with Microsoft's upcoming Internet Explorer 7 release. Both browsers are currently in beta and have received positive reviews from users. IE7 has been bolstered with improved security and built-in tabbed browsing, while Firefox 2.0 brings new phishing protection and better RSS support.

Way more to go, the download number doesnt count, cause I myself have downloaded it over a 100 times now for mine and other computers. They dont count patch updates too. I would like to see all spreading it to thier friends and increase the market share.
