Default Gigabyte Expands Cards Portfolio

Gigabyte India has launched the latest additions to its Radeon X1K Silent-Pipe II-series of fan-less, high performance graphics cards; the GV-RX13P256DE-RH, and the GV-RX16P256DE-RH.

Gigabyte's VGA cards feature a proprietary front-flow thermal module, and revolutionary design that uses natural convection to keep the GPU cool. Gigabyte says that its new graphics cards feature quiet operation, whereby noise pollution is greatly reduced, as also they are free of lead, mercury, and cadmium, namely RoHS compliant.

The new cards fully support Microsoft Direct X 9.0 Shader Model 3.0, and integrate with Radeon X1600 Pro VPU plus industry leading 256 MB GDDR2 video memory, to ensure high performance PC gaming and digital media playback.

While the GV-RX16P256DE-RH is powered by ATI Radeon X1600 Pro VPU, and supports PCI Express and 12 pipelines; the GV-RX13P256DE-RH is powered by ATI Radeon X1300 Pro GPU, and supports PCI Express and four pipelines.

The two graphics cards include common features such as Microsoft DirectX 9.0C and OpenGL 2.0 support; integrated high-performance 256MB GDDR2 memory and 128-bit memory interface; DVI-I/D-sub/TV-OUT; enclosed support HDTV function and HDTV cable; and unique Silent-Pipe II design.
