EasyEclipse Distributions

An EasyEclipse Distribution is a prepackaged release of Eclipse that is fully functional for a specific development environment. Each distribution contains everything needed to start developing code right of the box without additional downloads. For each distribution, nexB has selected a set of balanced and compatible plugins to optimize development and testing.

On Windows and Mac OS X, each distribution comes with an installer, so you can simply download, execute the installer and run ! On Linux, just untar in any directory and run from the command line.

Once you have installed a distribution, you can complement it by installing more plugins as needed.

In the Beta release, only the distributions with the "Checkbox" sign have been tested thoroughly. The other distributions should also work, but we have not yet had time to confirm it. We welcome your feedback (positive or negative) in the forums, mailing lists and bug trackers

But the files are very huge. One you download the disribution you need , you can add other plugins later as per your needs. If you have a broadband connection then go ahead. Yeah, Eclipse sure rocks
